The Illustrator and Illusionist

Monsieur, I bid you welcome.

Philip Z Loh, a freshman at Olin College, is the illustrator and illusionist behind this blog. He dreams of many things and they often warp in and out of shape, but the most consistent desire of his is to get married, settle down, and have kids.

Philip is an engineering student with a twist; his simple pleasures in life are found in non-engineering contexts: Philip composes music and lyrics, sings and dances spontaneously, dramatizes life and ideas, and simply lives with a passion beyond academics.

Philip prides himself with being sneaky. That being said, he considers himself an ethical sneak. He usually is sneaky only when planning and executing surprises for others, and in that manner believes that the ends justify the means.

Philip is a great proponent of style. He believes that whatever that needs to be done should be done in style: No matter victory or defeat, success or failure. This makes him a rather big pain in the ass/neck (take your pick) because normal people would find him impractical, vain, and extravagant. Philip, however, subscribes to the school of thought that professes that one can never please everyone and should only attempt to please those that matter. He desperately hopes that those who do matter do not mind his idiosyncrasies, and secretly wishes that they too share in that proponence (not a word).
